July 16,Hengyang-- A meeting was held at USC about the prospective cooperation between the University and China Institute of Atomic Energy in research and education.
At the beginning of the meeting, Prof. Wen Gebo, president of USC, extended his warmest welcome to the delegation of 5 led by Mr. Zhou Liulai, the party chief of CIAE.
Then, Prof. Dr. Zou Shuliang, party chief of USC, made a brief introduction to the University and outlined the history of cooperation between the two institutions.
After that, both sides detailed the likelihood of co-op in all aspects in research and education, with one of them being the master-degree programs for international students in Nuclear Sciences.
Also attending the meeting were Prof. Wu Yimou and Prof. Ding Dexin, both vice presidents, and the directors from International Department, Science and Research Department, Postgraduate Department and so on.
