Expectations |
We expect you to share stories of foreign teachers and students in China, under the attack the epidemic, overcoming obstacles and difficulties and continuing teaching and learning. You can tell stories of yourself, or stories of people around you. We hope to collect inspirational and heart-warming stories, and stories of devotion and true love or feelings. |
We expect you to share with us your experiences and insights of China’s development and changes, and to imagine the bright future of economic, social, scientific and cultural exchanges between China and foreign countries. You can tell the feelings and observations of your study, life and work in China, tell Chinese stories in a vivid and true way and describe China's economic development, scientific and technological achievements, natural scenery, urban features and cultural exchanges. |
Requirements of Essay |
Written in Chinese characters. There is no demand for the length of essay. Each essay should be supported by at least 10 pictures The pixel of each picture is not less than 2M. You should write some words to illustrate each picture. |
Language Demand: Written in Chinese. The length of essay: around 1,000 Chinese characters. You can decide the headlines of your stories with the theme on “My Beautiful Encounter with China.” |
Requirements of Short-Video |
Video Duration: within 5 minutes. Video Format: MP4, with high clarity and image quality (no less than 1080p and 1920*1080 respectively) |
Video Duration: 1-6 minutes. Video Format: MP4. With "My Campus" as the subject, you can record your study, life and travel experiences in China from the eyes of an overseas student, tell vivid and true Chinese stories and express the most touching feelings for China through the lens. |
Rewards |
Outstanding essays and videos will be presented in the opening ceremony of 2021 China-ASEAN Education Exchange Week. Winners will receive certificate of honor and rewards. |
Outstanding essays will be published as a book, and some of them may be published in newspapers or magazines. Outstanding videos will be posted on our website and short-video apps. Winners of both competitions will receive rewards. |

Way to Participate |
Students may choose from either of the two forms (essay or short-video), or join both of them. All entries must be original, without being published in other newspapers, books or websites, or being contributed to other competitions.Please send your essay or short-video works to your coordinator. |
